Carmel Petresco was a European by birth but eventually she moved to New York. Her good looks have got her a lot of media attention. At one point of time she held $80,000 chips, while the average stack was around $19000.She gained the media’s attention as the favourite one when rest of the female players stated getting eliminated. She finished decently out of all 6000 participants.
Petresco states that she on the game table a woman cannot be distinguished from a man. Characteristically a man perceives a woman as a soft being. If a woman flaunts her appeal on the table, she will not receive the reverence she deserves. Thus Petresco is strictly against using her attractive looks at the table and thinks being beautiful has no added advantage.
