Kathy Liebert is a professional poker player. She started her career as a poker player in Colorado. She is a graduate from the Marist College in Poughkeepsie of New York. She passed out with a degree in business and finance. She currently lives in Las Vegas. Her total life time earnings till date values into 5,339,173 dollars. She also has won 1 World Series of Poker bracelet. She used to work in Dunn & Bradstreet as an executive but later she decided to give up that work about stock markets and things for her love for playing poker.
In Colorado, she started off with a mere 5 dollars limit poker. That is where every thing started for her. After that, there has been no looking back for Kathy Liebert. She is today one of the most fearsome, talented and respected poker players in the world. She is also a big challenge when it comes to world tournaments and games. She has a record of 13 1st place finishes. Her professional ranking is 3146.after her win in the Columbia 5 dollars limit poker match, she moved on and entered several tournaments. Her first big win was at the Party Poker Million event in the year 2002, where she won the prize money of one million. This was a turning point in her life. In the World Poker Tour.
She made it to the finals 5 times.  She stood third there in the year of 2005 at the Borgata Poker Open. She was then ranked as the highest female World Poker Tour winner until J.J. Liu broke her record later in the year of 2007 in the Bay 101 Shooting Stars Tournament.  But then again in the year of 2009, Kathy Liebert tied with her in the 2009 Shooting Stars tournament leaving poker champion Steve Brecher behind. Her record was later broken again by Van Nguyen at the World Poker Tour Invitational in Commerce which was held in California.
In the year 2004, at the World Series of Poker, Kathy Liebert won a gold bracelet. The event was of a 1,500 dollars Texas hold’em shootout event. That year, she ranked top in the World Series OF Poker rankings along with Cyndy Violette and Annie Duke. In the year of 2005, Kathy Liebert took part in the Poker Royale: Battle of the Sexes and she also won it. In September 2005, she lost and was out of the World Speed Poker Open which was held in London. She went ahead and did some commentary along with Gary Jones. In the year 2008, on June 1st, she made it to the finals of the 10,000 dollars Pot-Limit Hold’em World Championship of the WSP. She stood third there, earning around 306,064 dollars.
Recently, the World Team Poker signed Kathy along with Cyndy Violette and Antonio Esfandiari which is a team of the top 24 poker players of the world. This list was released in July 2010.

Women have already now started to enter into the men’s world. The famous poker game is known to be a mainly male game. However, on  September 3, three of the known female poker players will be inducted in the Women Poker Hall of Fame and this include Jennifer Harman, Kathy Liebert, and Billie Brown.
Billie Brown – one of the known female players in the poker world, Billie Brown was able to make history before she passed away last 2004. She was able to establish herself enjoying a solid reputation as an innovator. Brown was able to dramatically change the face of poker by create exciting tournaments and promotions. She was also the first person that was able to create a guaranteed purse in a major poker tournament in the early 80’s.
Kathy Liebert – this WSOP bracelet holder will be joining Brown in September 3. In her whole poker career, Liebert has already raked in $5,717,426 amount of prizes in live tournaments. This winnings of Kathy Liebert is top of the women’s all-time money list. In addition, Liebert also lists at the 41st place on the all-time overall tournament money list.
Jennifer Harman – this Full Tilt Poker pro will be joining the other two as a Women Poker Hall of Fame inductee. Jennifer is one of the most known female poker players of today. With her being able to make it to six WSOP final table, Jennifer Harman had already took home over $2.6 million of cash prizes from live tournaments. Because of this, Jennifer was one of the widely respected player in the poker industry.
