Live Boeree is one the finest female poker players in the poker circuit. Last year was one of her finest years of her entire career. After a dazzling life of being a poker queen, Liv has finally decided to depart from team UB. It is because of team UB that Liv was popularized as one of the finest highest free agent in the world of poker.
Liv took part in the World Series of Poker this year, but she was not seen wearing her branding of team UB. This time, in the World Series of Poker, Liv won about 10,000 dollars in the WSOP main event of the buy-in tournament. Some talks were on about keeping Liv as partners in the team UB but then later on Liv decided to quit. So around July 8th, it was officially known to every one about Liv’s departure from Team UB. All older posts referring to and by Liv Boeree have been removed from their official website. Even the tags of Liv have been removed. The forums also do not show Liv’s name any more. Her awards, her winnings and all other kinds of data have been deleted as well.
Now that she is out, people are wondering which major league she will join- the PokerStars or Full Tilt Poker. Liv could also choose to shift to London from the United States as she had said earlier that she really feels at home there. There are several European poker houses like PartyPoker’s Kara Scott or the BetClic belonging to Isabelle Mercier. Liv broke all records in the year 2010, and now that she has quit Team UB, she still has a lot of options left in front of her. Her poker playing skills are well accepted and she can easily join any team she wants now.
Her approach towards the game is very unique. Her accomplishments at the poker table became more renowned due to her passion and zeal for the game which is evident through her gaming strategies. Liv achieved her breakthrough when she won the European Poker Tournament by earning 1.8 million dollars. She stood first and showed off her skills efficiently and stood as a winner. There was no looking back for her after that point. She sure is one of the emerging stars of the year 2010. On the other hand, World Series of Poker 2010’s November Nine is also creating quiet a storm. There are some new rules set up by Harrah this time. Whether Liv will stand out as one of the top players or not, well, only time can say that. Now that November is not far, people are getting more impatient on their seats.
Why the riff was created between Team UB and Liv that is still not clear. Close friends claim that she wanted to move on with her life and not get stuck with one team all her life. Now that Liv has left Team UB, she has taken a break from poker for the time being but it is very much certain that soon, she will be back in the game, creating history all over again.
